1. General Overview

Doctor Maintenance provides appliance repair services and sells new and used appliances to customers across Maryland. These Terms outline the rules, obligations, and policies governing our interactions with you, the customer.

2. Appliance Repair Services

2.1 Service Scope:

We repair household appliances, including but not limited to refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, ovens, stoves, and dishwashers. Repairs are based on diagnostic results and customer-provided information.

2.2 Service Warranty:

  • All repair services include a 30-day workmanship warranty covering labor.

  • Replacement parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty where applicable.

Warranty exclusions:

  • Issues unrelated to the original repair.

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper operation.

2.3 Appointments:

  • Appointment times are based on availability, with same-day service offered when possible (not guaranteed).

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate appliance details and ensuring access to the appliance.

  • Missed appointments may incur a fee.

2.4 Diagnostic Fee:

  • A non-refundable diagnostic fee applies to all evaluations. If a repair is authorized, the fee will be credited toward the repair cost.

3. New and Used Appliance Sales

3.1 New Appliances:

  • New appliances come with the manufacturer’s warranty. It is the customer's responsibility to register the product to activate this warranty.

3.2 Used Appliances:

  • Used appliances are sold "as-is" unless explicitly covered by a separately purchased extended warranty.

  • All used appliances are inspected and functional at the time of sale.

3.3 Warranty Period:

  • Used appliances include a 60-day store warranty for appliances purchased at our store located at 7014 German Hill Rd, Unit C, Dundalk, MD, 21222.

3.4 Returns and Exchanges:

  • New appliances: Returns or exchanges are allowed within 14 days of purchase, provided the item is unused and in original packaging. A restocking fee may apply.

  • Used appliances: Non-returnable and non-refundable unless covered under an extended warranty.

3.5 Delivery and Installation:

  • Delivery and installation services are available for an additional fee.

  • Customers must ensure safe delivery paths. Doctor Maintenance is not responsible for damages caused by unsafe or inaccessible delivery conditions.

4. Payments and Pricing

4.1 Pricing:

  • Prices are subject to change without notice. Listed prices exclude taxes, delivery fees, and installation costs unless specified otherwise.

4.2 Payments:

  • Payments must be made in full at the time of purchase or service. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and approved financing options.

4.3 Financing:

  • Financing options are available through third-party providers. The terms of financing are governed by the respective provider's policies.

5. SMS Communication Policy

By opting into SMS communications, you consent to receiving text messages related to:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders

  • Service updates and promotional offers

5.1 Opt-Out Policy:

  • You can unsubscribe at any time by replying "STOP" to any text message.

  • Standard message and data rates may apply as determined by your carrier.

5.3 Customer Responsibilities:

  • Notify us promptly of any changes to your contact information.

These messages may include appointment confirmations, reminders, promotional offers, and updates regarding our services.
